I wonder if he has spoken to his brother yet? Last I heard which was like 2 weeks ago is that they still haven't spoken since midfield congrats thingy. Jim is a sore loser if you ask me if that's the case.
I remember reading that Jack Harbaugh said his sons don't really talk during the evaluation period anyway, but I'd be kidding myself if I didn't think that Jim is still bitter. Probably don't speak too much right now.
I'd rather reach for Milliner or Fisher than get an end at #5 at this point. I love Jarvis Jones but he's not a good fit in the scheme we have, and that goes for Jordan as well.
Milliner a reach? Maybe. But Fisher is not. He is top 5 talent. Be careful, he might not even be on the board at #5, if Joeckel goes #1, the Eagles could snatch him. Both are great picks, in my opinion.
I think getting a cb who can lock down a receiver would be huge for us...how's his tackling though I don't know much about him milinner that is
Milliner will probably be beat up around the edge in the run game early in his career, but he reminds me a lot of Derek Cox in Jacksonville. He gets a ton of comparisons to Tim Jennings in Chicago, but I think Cox might be a little bit better. Anyway, he'll be a cover guy, and I think he'd step in right away and be the #1 guy in Detroit.
Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer reported that the the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have agreed upon a trade that will send Alex Smith to the Chiefs. The deal can't be official until the league year starts on March 12, but the Chiefs have made a "clear commitment" to Smith, according to Glazer.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported the compensation is a second-round pick in 2013 and possibly a pick in 2014. Glazer's wording suggests that a new contract could be coming for Smith, who was due $7.5 million in the final year of his deal. The Chiefs wouldn't give up this much in the draft for a one-year rental.
Blown away by Arthur Brown right now. He's a fit at any LB position except for 3-4 OLB. If you need an ILB this year, don't think there's been one this good in a while.

So the 9ers are going after Revis and are going to be throwing a nice handful of picks at the Jets for him. Smart trading Smith to the Chiefs for more picks.
