I hope you guys stick with a 4-3, because if you do, then you have a lot of options. Jones is basically useless in a 4-3, he's just too small and I don't trust him to have a long career at this point. Not saying he wasn't a fantastic college player, but I'm not sure I expect him to have too much more at this point, to be honest.
In the 4-3, I'd like the Lions to think about Bjoern Werner, but best case scenario for you guys is Joeckel, and I'd even take Fisher over a guy like Jones.
Yeah I like Werner a lot to...I just became a jones fanboy a bit... But his odds to stay healthy are probably slim in the nfl....it's just hard to over look him leading theSEC in sacks 2years in a row...but I guess you never know how that's gonna translate...he's probably the type of player who is probably a bust if the lions take him at 5 but a pro bowler if the steelers get him lol

I'm hoping a good safety or Barrett Jones falls to us in round 2. Barner or Robinson would be a great late round pick for our speed/return guy.
Who should the Cowboys draft in the first round, Wine :-?
That switch to a 4-3 really is rough for that team, if you ask me. I think firing Ryan was a mistake. I really wish there was a scheme guy there for them to pick up in the first, but I think the Cowboys could be the team to pick up Chance Warmack, who's the best guard prospect since Iupati and maybe more. Still think that OL is only a part of the problem. Maybe a guy like John Jenkins (GA) or Hankins (OSU).

LOVE Kenjon Barner. Love him. Can't stop wondering if I'd rather have him or James. Barrett Jones' Lisfranc injury could set him back, and I think the skill positon guys like Patterson, Mingo and Ansah are all going to blow up after the combine. Definitely think they could pull a coup and get Fisher/Joeckel and Barrett Jones. That's a fucking mint right there. Better duo than the 49ers got with Iupati and Davis, that's for sure.

Fix the OL or the secondary and they can contend for the WC. Fix both and they can contend for the division.
Imagine the OL of Joeckel/Fisher, Jones, Raiola, maybe move Peterman to the right, and Reiff. That gives Detroit 3/5 starters that are high, high quality guys, and are under 25. That's a huge change.
If he's there, Jonathan Cyprien could be a 2nd or 3rd round target for Detroit too. But honestly, he will be great no matter where he goes. I honestly kinda want him in the 1st for the 49ers.

Peterman's gone. That spot will be filled by Nagy probably. Jason Fox is going to compete for a spot as well.

Totally forgot about Peterman leaving. Either way, that could be a really nice line really fast. There's enough depth at other positions later in the draft that you could get 2 other starters in the 3rd and 4th.

I would seriously cry if we get him. I see mock drafts where the Cowboys take him but do you think he would actually drop that far?
Definitely could. He's one of the best players in the draft, but so was Iupati. Positional value is going to be huge in this draft for many teams, so I think that Warmack still being there in the late teens is very possible.

Jonathan Cooper, another excellent guard, could be a second guard taken in the first. If they want, they could find a partner to trade back to the mid twenties and pick him up as well. He's also a mauler.
