So far, the 49ers looked like the best team in the nfl week one.
and washington. Washington's biggest problem was Shanahan deciding to go with their almost ineffective run after half time, instead of using RG3 as he did in the first half. The dude was on fire, and you just dont pack burner someone that hot when you are playing a team like the saints. I could see doing that in the 4th quarter when you have a sizable lead.... but not as early as he did.
Steelers didnt play bad, it was Denver kicking sum ass iz wut..... fukkin i did find out one thing from last night, Payton iz scared of Palamlu lmao he'd change the play everytime he saw troy comin at him bro.... and then he did it 3 times and called time out because of troy )

what part was I jumping to conclusions? The moss thing? Washington being good? Or the Seahawks being awful... because I stand behind that third one. If seattle can't pull off a win against Arizona with 1st and goal, and an extra time out they didnt have.... forgetaboutit

I was talking in general to people who are saying Team X is clearly the best team and Team Y won't make the playoffs. RG3 played a hell of a game but teams are going to find ways to stop him and there are many better defenses than New Orleans. San Francisco is probably the real deal but they played just about as well as they could have played yesterday. Seattle will get better as Wilson gets better if they stick with him.

I don't think there's any way that Washington wins that division. They're still going to have growing pains. RGIII played a team with an emaciated coaching staff.
I still think Seattle is really really overrated. Russell Wilson just didn't seem comfortable or ready.

That's what I was saying about the Giants losing to the Cowboys in week 1. Alot of weird shit happens in week 1 that usually doesn't amount to anything.

id have to say i was most impressed with the patriots....if they can run the ball like that this year id be shocked
as far as the lions go, they were good defensively which i love to see...they got the stop when they needed to even if they had let them get down for the field goal they still got the stop to get the ball back...stafford just looked rusty a lot of his balls were high...i expect him to get much better....after he made those horrible decisions today he looked like his self....i believe he has 7-8 4th quarter game winning drives now..and hes only 24....iv always thought he reminded me of bret farve a bit...but yesterday after throwing his pics and then seeing how he celebrated after the touchdown really looked like old number 4
i can't wait till next sunday night should be a good game!

i agree 100% after watching a good part of that game
Fuck the Pats. They would get an easy schedule this year.
Was still impressed with the Buccaneers. If they D plays like it did yesterday and the offense picks up some more, ooooooooooooooooooooh man! Falcons are going to have a very tough time with them.

Oh I agree that New Orleans probably has the shittiest defensive line and secondary in football. I know that this game for them was a perfect opener, and the next few games wont come that easy... But I liked what I saw- I see them as a legit threat for the wildcard spot.
With New Orleans, Chicago, Detroit, Philly, Dallas, and NYG probably competing for one of those two spots with them....yeah. Not seeing it this year. I would consider it a major accomplishment if they go .500.
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Star cornerback Darrelle Revis sustained a mild concussion Sunday, the New York Jets announced Monday, and his status for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is uncertain.
"He seems to be feeling good, but whatever those (baseline test) scores are, apparently that's low," coach Rex Ryan said. "I'll lean on the doctors and trainers. We'll see how he progresses during the week."
Revis was hurt on a fluke play in the fourth quarter of the Jets' 48-28 win over the Buffalo Bills. He was chasing running back C.J. Spiller and landed on his stomach after a diving attempt to tackle him. While on the ground, he was accidentally kicked in the head by linebacker Bart Scott, who also was in pursuit.
Revis took a few moments to get up and walked slowly to the sideline, where he was checked for a concussion by the medical staff. He didn't return to the game.
