And being Vegan, he's getting almost no protein. Vegan means no animal products at all, so no cottage cheese, no eggs, etc. which are standard non-meat high protein foods that athletes, bodybuilders, whatever, will eat to get a lot of protein, but even those are eliminated. All he'll eat is fruits, veggies, and starches basically, and none of those have much protein. Being Vegan is so fucking unhealthy.
That's true but I just think its hilarious. Forte was holding out and waiting for Rice to get his deal and see if he could get the same money or more. Guess he got tired of waiting and made his deal and then hours later Rice gets a bigger and better contract. Forte must be mad.

Beans and other legumes, nuts/peanut butter, soy milk, and tofu all have high protein content.

Not really, as far as macros are concerned, nuts and peanut butter are considered fats, healthy fats, but nonetheless, fats, not protein. Soy Milk, kinda, nothing substantial doe, and nothing compared to dairy milk. And Beans, once again, not really, counting macros, Beans are carbs.
Tofu had 20-25 grams per 1/2 cup. Soy has about 15. Peanuts and almonds have 8 per 1/4 cup. Thats more than or equal to cottage cheese and eggs.
Not even close. And not only that, but nuts are generally high calories, even a 1/4 cup can be close to 200 calories, so to eat a cup of them and get CLOSE to what you'd get in a cup of cottage cheese, you're also taking in 500-600 more unnecessary calories. And no, soy milk does not have that much protein in a half a cup. I drink both skim and soy milk, and soy is like 6-7 grams per CUP, Skim being 8-9 grams, depending on the brand.
Point is, you want substantial protein, you eat foods that, based on macros, are proteins. Which nuts and beans are not. They're fats and carbs, respectively. Proteins are poultry, fish, lean cuts of red meat, eggs, cottage cheese, etc.
I meant soy beans, not soy milk sorry. And you can get substantial protein from all of these foods I mentioned if you plan your meals right. And sure, he might intake 400 extra calories with nuts than with cottage cheese, but whose to say he wouldnt burn them off anyway?
Of course its gonna be harder to make improvements as a vegan, but its not possible. And its certainly not unhealthy.
