NBC announced the Cowboys-Eagles game is the most-watched SNF broadcast ever, drawing 25.73 million viewers, a 23 percent increase in the Week 14 game of 2009, which happened to be the Eagles-Giants.
The only other candidate to change out Sunday’s game would’ve been Patriots and Bears. And while the matchup of Cowboys and Eagles, after Dallas won three times last year, and the emergence of Michael Vick were too good to pass up. Then again, picking an indoor game in Dallas over Solider Field in December might have something to do with the decision as well.
But of the Top 10 Sunday night games of all time, the Cowboys have played in five, including three of the top four.

How the fuck am I a bandwagon jumper Nick?
My team is Bears through and fucking through. I'm not all seriously into sports and shit, but I've never been a fan of another team except the Bears.
Maybe because you only pop when they are winning like Ed. Where were last season?
