The complete lack of accountability being put on Tua is actually hilarious. Yes the staff was negligent and shouldn’t have let him play, but at the same time, that’s a whole grown ass man. Everyone including him all knew he was concussed and shouldn’t be playing, yet he still said fuck it and played and willingly risked his health. He easily could have said he doesn’t feel safe playing yet and that he was gonna sit out, they didn’t have no gun to his head and he gets paid regardless. Staff is horrible but he’s to blame too.
It's not on Tua to make medical decisions. Every football player is in constant amounts of pain once the season starts. If an NFL player didn't play when they didn't feel well the NFL wouldn't exist.
After watching the all 22 tape the last 2 weeks. there isn't much positive, but they absoultly have to get Amani of the field. hes out of position nearly every time they play zone, and cant cover in man.
I do like some of what i see from Kirby Joseph though. While he gave up the TD in the first, he was in good position.
They need to simplify the defense. Blitz less and play more zone. if they can hold a team to a couple FG's and get a punt or two a game they can easily turn it around with the offense.
We’re not talking general soreness tho. Obviously that applies to 100% of the league. If you’re concussed, especially severely, it’s pretty obvious.
I’m a bit late on this but when I had my bad concussion when I tried to go back to work a week after it happened I thought I was fine made it to work fine no issues then when I was trying to work on a new part on a machine my boss was showing me he just stops and says “what the fuck is wrong with you you’re not understanding anything and we have been here for two hours” I said it’s only been 10 minutes chill. That’s when he said I needed to go see a doctor and they wouldn’t let me back at work for another two weeks until a doctor fully cleared me. I thought I was fine, I was not.
by the way it ended up taking 6 months to feel completely normal again
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!

He could not have symptoms for 5 days and then start having headaches.
The problem with head trauma is we really don't know enough about it. The doctor that cleared him was fired.
I totally disagree that it's on Tua though. That's why they have all those professionals they hire. So they can supposedly protect the players.
