If you think trading for and then signing OBJ or AB to massive extensions was better for the Lions than actually filling the holes they do have I don't know what to tell you. They're not one superstar away. You think the QB sucks anyway so why bother?
Also Flowers wasn't a "reject," he was pretty much the best edge rusher on the market. All the free agents they signed besides Amendola are in their early to mid 20s. Hardly rejects.
