You I will always disagree about this. Look at our current QB situation. Perfect thing to figure out during the preseason. Although the injuries are unfortunate.
I don't mean to say it's completely pointless, although I'm a little surprised they haven't cut down on the number of preseason games by now. You absolutely need training camp and preseason games for roster and practice purposes. I just can't get into them as a fan. This isn't exclusive to football for me either, I barely watch preseason hockey games and don't think I've ever watched a full spring training game.
Nah i feel you. I think maybe because i'm pretty much exclusively an NFL fan these days that by the time preseason is here i'm happy to get some kind of game to watch.
Probably doesn't help that I'm wired to not get my hopes up as a Lions fan. I like the direction of the franchise at the top, finally, but I don't think anyone expects much this year.
Yeah i mean we could be good I guess. The structure and coaches are there as far as coordinators go at least. I'm kind of planning on like 6-10 though. I can't set myself up for disappointment again.
