Looking at the schedule.... Seahawks really have no excuse to not be the #1 seed in NFC for third straight year. Half the teams we are playing are in organizational melt down. And then we luck out getting Arizona at home after our Bye? Nice to see the NFL making our road back to the superbowl padded.

It's ammusing that you think Russel had any part in that call. That call was 100% made by the offensive coordinator, and maybe in part by Pete. As far as I could tell, Russel executed the call pretty flawlessly... Defense just read the call and got their first.
Honestly probably was the pats stealing calls again. They have a history of doing that you know.

All I am saying is fundamentally the pass was as good as that pass could have been for that call. Also, if I was a defender and I saw it was a pass play, I'd be thinking it's going to be a pass to the back corner where no defender can intercept. Why? Cause that's a safe goal line passing call. Sure it might be incomplete but then so what third down. Instead the call came in to make that dangerous pass in middle and defense jumped the route perfectly.

Last year's schedule looked hard at this time last year too. This schedule has a stretch where we go over a month without playing a true road game and avoid cold weather games except the one at Chicago.
