Looks like Greg Roman is headed to Buffalo to be their OC. Still need to find a quarterback but that's a couple of good hires for them.
Holy shit, no that is not a good hire for them.
They didn't have a good year this year, but the four years before that he and Harbaugh did some good things. And he'll have some weapons.
Roman played no part in QB development, which is the first reason that's a bad hire. He has very poor situational play calling, for another. Third, he is incredibly incapable of making adjustments during the game or even during the season.
The best description I saw of the 49ers offense all season was "it's almost as if they're finding out what works for them, and then abandoning it immediately."
Who do you think the Niners get as their next coach? And would you disassociate with the team if they hired Mike Shanahan?
