Wednesday marked Devon Still’s first day back on the Bengals’ roster.
It also marked a banner day for the club’s sales of hisreplica jersey, the proceeds of which will benefit Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and pediatric cancer treatment and research, efforts inspired by Still’s four-year-old daughter, Leah, who is battling cancer.
According to the Bengals’ website, the club had sold 1,000 Still jerseys on Wednesday as of late in the day. The New Orleans Saints placed an order for 100 Still jerseys, the Bengals announced on their Twitter account, thanking New Orleans for its generosity.
The Bengals sold about 100 Still jerseys on Tuesday, per the club’s website. The jerseys are priced at $100 apiece, meaning the sale has already raised more than $100,000 for its causes.
