American but the guys are Armenian. Just like AILD are all Christian but they aren't a Christian band

There's a difference between "good bands" and "influential bands". Though I may not like some of the bands on the list, I can't deny that they are good gateway bands for kids to get into metal, therefore being influential.

Chimaira and Black Dahlia Murder would be the main two I listen to out of those bands. Maybe a song here or there from the others.

I hate almost every band on that list but Slipknot, Disturbed, and Lamb of God all got me into heavier stuff.
