My friend and I always seem to get into an argument over who is the better drummer. I always say Hellhammer and he says Inferno. Figured I'd ask you guys to see what you think.

I'm a Hellhammer fan because of his work with Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Emperor, & Shining. He didn't do much with Immortal.

I'm pretty sure Inferno has the faster double bass, but Hellhammer to me is the all around better drummer, just look at all the bands he has played for.

Inferno is a one-trick horse.... Hellhammer's drumming has substance (when it calls for it)

I have heard drum solos by both people and they sounds the same really, especially when they're playing in bands. Like I'm sure they could play each others songs.

I'm sure there are quite a few Metal drummers that could play Behemoth's songs, but I'm not sure which Hellhammer songs since he's made a shit ton of them.
