The whole concept of doing it at Comerica is meh for me. What does it offer that DTE doesn't? The amphitheater isn't the best, but the side stages are perfect.
Ive been to Tinley park in chicago for mayhem and sandstone in Missouri (theyre aren't doing mayhem there this year,) and both venues have GA in the front, seats, then lawn in the back.
apparently it doesn't. I went look it up and looks like all seating. I don't understand how you could even hold a metal concert concert at a venue like that. It's like, everybody in front the stage has to stand still, and everybody in the back gets to mosh or whatnot. The essence of the show must really be awkward.

Shoreline, here, is like that too, it blows. Another reason I'm not going this year.
Comerica would suck, are you kidding me? Cobo is the ideal venue for any concert, but I think it's a bit too small to hold the side stages outside, there's not enough room.
Comerica park has big parking lots that could easily hold the side stages....idk what your talking about...and have an epic huge pit for main....late lol
