well it all depends. I don't mind paying that much for huge bands like Sabbath and Maiden, but I'm not trying to pay more than $20-$25 for shows where it's touring bands and I"m not trying to pay more than $10 for local shows. But that's because I usually don't have to because I just see a bunch of underground metal bands or something
Most iv ever paid was like 75 for Metallica and it was the biggest waste of money iv ever spent. I think I paid 60 for tool last time and that's about the most I would spend on them
What I was getting at is why he would pay all that extra for VIP...could have probably went for like 30-50...like I would never pay that much to meet a "famous" person. Like iv meet some famous people and it was no big deal to me they are just another person. I shared a elevator with Steve yzerman who is my favorite hockey player ever and didn't even ask for his autograph. If I saw Maynard walking down the street I would just say hi and keep on moving.
Most I spent was $112 for Maiden. Second was probably like $80ish for Sabbath.
I paid 175 for Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax... plus had to fly my ass from Rochester to San Diego, and then drive to Palm Springs. It was worth it.
Yeah It would be different for a festival/ something like that.
that being said I would not pay to see those bands together.
Yeah I wouldnt pay it again, or if I could go back in time I would have stopped myself. Might have been a different story if you could talk those bands into doing that in like 1990. But when I went to that show (2010+?) it was just a bunch of over the hill, washed up, former visions of themselves. It was pretty lame honestly.
