Thanks. I honestly think I'm gonna do fewer interviews and just photograph more shows, I'll still do interviews every now and then, but they'll mostly be much smaller/newer/unknown/up and coming bands that I enjoy and feel like they deserve more recognition. Such as, I have interviews coming up with Black Anvil, Pallbearer, Tombs, Weekend Nachos, Maruta, ASG and Black Tusk. But I'm done chasing after big interviews, our site has other people for that, bands like the ones I mentioned are always more fun to talk with.
So EDM is officially the best live music. Went to Summer Set this weekend for all 3 days and while there was some dope Hip Hop there ,(ScHoolboy Q, Tyler, Danny Brown, Isaiah Rashad, and then Wu-Tang was there but I skipped em for Flux Pavilion.) but it's primarily an EDM fest. This was literally my first time ever experiencing it live and I been wanting to for a minute now. I still prolly won't listen to it much on my own, simply cause I like being able to sing/rap along, and you obviously can't do that wit instrumental music, but maaan in a live setting it's so fuckin perfect. I never went so fuckin ham at a show in my life. Bassnectar was the hardest hitting live act I ever seen, bar none. Calves are fucked from jumping so much, neck is stiff, and shoulder is fucked cause I popped it singlehandedly supporting a fatass 200+ lb crowd surfer that everybody else neglected to grab. But it was worth every second. And I was rolling my fucking head off on Saturday off both a bean and a Molly, and I started peaking right as Flux Pavilion started. I can't even describe how fucking hypnotic it was except for the fact that there's a reason EDM and MDMA go hand in hand. You CAN'T stop moving, you're locked in a straight trance, you physically feel every note thru your entire body, and the light show is fucking magic. I never felt so fucking good in my life. Bassnectar was artistically better, but I was only drunk for his set, Flux Pavilion takes the trophy for the weekend simply because of how fucking amazing the set was while rolling, first time I got to experience that. Already thirsty as fuck for another EDM show just for that fact alone, need to roll again and just go apeshit.
Beyond all that just one of the best weekends I ever had, first 3 day festival I been to and it's great to just step away from real life like that and just go hard and have fun all weekend, nothing but music and drugs. Plus I bonded on a more personal level and had a real ass conversation last night wit one of my brothers from the team and that was just a great feeling to top everything off. Nothing but love lately, life is great.
Inb4 salty Metalheads cry because I enjoyed something that's actually fun.
Naw singing is my passion. Although I have been fuckin around on Logic tryna make some Dubstep and shit. Always comes out like shit cause I'm used to Hip Hop/RnB style production.

I used to be into EDM more a few years ago, but the shows are fun. It's less about the music and more about just having a good time though.
