I went into Wolf expecting to like it but was kind of disappointed. At least it's the best produced yet, but Tyler just hasn't really progressed as an MC. All the shit's predictable. He mentions the damn cockroach in like 5-6 songs, I thought it was kind of clever the first time I heard it in Domo 23. And he's still crying about high school Only tracks that really stuck out to me were Answer, Bimmer, Colossus, and Treehome95.
I want Doris now.
It's not my favorite out of the three. The beats are hot though

music is pretty stagnant in general right now. i'm shocked when anyone releases an album that's a departure from their previous work
Haven't DL'd yet, haven't gotten to my computer, but that's kinda shocking, he said Wolf was gonna reflect more on fame and how different his life is now because of it.
Nonetheless, as an artist myself, I know how it can be hard to constantly write about new subjects, especially when your life stays the exact same for the most part. So you find ways to write about that same familiar thing, but in a new way. You can write about 1 thing in a million different ways. Most of XO's shit is about bitches and drugs, but he never gets boring to me, at all. He always keeps it fresh.
>Now almost 2 years of constantly writing Hip Hop, released a mixtape, prolly 100 songs written (Not all have been released.) >I know more than enough, firsthand, about the mental writing process. >Not a reliable source until signed, although I'm doing exactly what a signed artist does, minus the money.
Wasn't bashing or anything. Its just hard to take a comment like that from an amateur seriously. It would be like me saying as a snowboarder myself it becomes hard to differentiate oneself in a slopestyle run when everyone is doing similar tricks. I've never competed on that level so who am I to say something about it
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Yeah, I'm not getting the logic. So does that mean until I'm a successful bass player in a metal band, you can't take my advice on bass playing, even if I've been playing bass for 5 years?

Approximately how many times were you dropped as a baby? It's different wit sports. Anytime I play 5 on 5 basketball, I block and deny niggas all day like it's nothing, but obviously me saying "Well why can't motherfuckers simply block LeBron and shut him down?", is retarded. NBA is a whole different ball game, and I'm not blocking LeBron. But when it comes to Music, signed or unsigned, the same thing goes for anyone, it can be hard to constantly write about new subjects, that's just how it goes, and that's why all signed artists are known for their main lyrical content. Eminem = His daughter, Kim, addiction. Drake = Relationships/simp Music, Hopsin = How he was always teased and was never the cool kid, Immortal Technique = Political shit, Nas = Street life, Kid Cudi and me = Being a loner. None of these artists, even the first one, considered by many as the undeniable GOAT, are extremely versatile in subject matter, but have mastered their own craft and know what works for them. That's just a matter of being a lyricist, it has nothing to do wit being signed or not. Please drink bleach and shut your uneducated mouth the fuck up.

I feel that Wolf is a story too.
But I see how it works for you.

Excuse me sir, your retardedness is showing.
