Can you actually stop though is the question. I hope you can
for a car, absolutely. i've quit by using patches before and i'm cutting down starting today. i got dis shit
Honestly cold turkey is the only way to do it if you want to stay quit for good...also you have to be in the mindset that your doing it for yourself....not that the motivation of a car won't help but you have to have that mindset if its gonna work
Yeah but going cold turkey gets rid of your physical dependency a lot faster. If you use the patch you are still dependent on nicotine, and there for more likely to go back to smoking..quitting the first couple months isn't the hard part...staying quit is
Either way best of luck....I still worry ill go back sometimes....but in my mind and heart I know I never wanna smoke ever again so I know I'm never going back.

I heard once that the chemical addiction of cigs are broken after 3 days. Not sure if that is real or not but I believed it at the time. So what I did is got so skunk drunk one night and smoked as much as I could until I wanted to puke. Then due to the alcohol poisoning I passed out and didnt wake up the next day, and the following day i was still too sick to get out of bed. By the third day when i was actually able to fall out of bed, my body will still to much of a wreck to do anything normal. Anyways, didnt smoke again after that.
I dont think i'd recommend this method for anyone else. Looking back on it, im not too sure it was all that safe consuming so much alcohol you dont wake up like 36 hours. Probably lucky I woke up at all.
