Life is fucking good. Last studio session for The Pilot tomorrow, sending in my order for the copies on Monday, it drops on Friday, first official song of the second mixtape is written and it's the best song I've ever written, can't stop listening to it, and to top it all off, broke 2 PRs in 2 days at the gym. NOW WHO GON' STOP ME, HAH?!?!?!?
@ZmbieFlavrdCupcakes You said you worked at GameStop before right? How was it? I applied there and I think it might be cool, but I've heard some bad things.
Friend works at Gamestop and she loves it. The one I go to all the time I have become good friends with all the people and the manager. All of em passionate about games and never have any complaints about working there at all. Some of the coolest peeps I know.
i lol when i see people being picky about where they get jobs right now. they're not exactly growing on trees these days
the economy is actually turning around so those job trees are going to start popping up.
and not trying to make a political statement, just stating facts, but Romney was claiming that his administration would create 10 million jobs if he got elected, but the truth is you could elect a potted plant as president and that would happen. Meaning the economy itself is going to create those jobs, not any sort of president.
This is discovered by some groups of economists. So don't lose hope in the economy. It isn't going to get better overnight, but it is getting better.
doesn't change how i feel about people passing on perfectly good jobs because they aren't perfect. it's prolly gonna be at least 2-3 more years at minimum before things get back to even early bush years numbers. if people just sit on their hands for that long until they get something "perfect", they're gonna end up hungry.

Longer than that. Fiscal Cliff is going to set people back for a bit, and the conversation over Dodd-Frank is going to make the market a little antsy. I think it's 5 years before we see unemployment back to a number that doesn't kill us, but I'm pretty confident in the belief that even after this recession, our equilibrium unemployment will be somewhere around 6%.
Going to see Nunslaughter at a bar tonight. Necrobutcher from Mayhem is visiting Chicago this weekend and has asked my attendance at the show. Feels good man.

I know a guy who called into work because he cut himself shaving, no joke.
He asked so i answered
What Thai did you have Wonderboy?
I like Pad Thai; prawns and noodles
