the simpsons have sucked for an entire decade now. I gave up on them in like 2000 when every week was just a diffirent guest person who wasnt remotely funny, but every show gets bad eventually... they dont make episodes like the lemon tree or the one where they get covered in an avalanche anymore.....

think of it this way, most shows suck after a couple seasons. simpsons are in its 22nd season. thats a pretty good run.

i remember watching the simpsons shorts when they were part of the Tracy Ullman show. talk about a long running show. Everything gets sucky with age. look at any rock / metal band thats been around for 20+ years. none are as good now as they were 20 years ago
