ITT: Xeno defending his purchase of a $60 expansion. 8-X
I'm no COD fanboy, I didn't buy Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3. I ended up getting Black Ops long after it was released to play it with friends and it was actually a really fun game. MW3 sucked though.
But yeah, mob mentality is nearly as prevalent in the gaming community as it is in metal. I guess you get the best of both worlds here.

" Sony’s PlayStation Plus service could be changed to offer new releases free of charge or even access to Call of Duty: Elite at no extra cost.
Several possible tiers of subscription options have been hinted at in a new user survey by Sony. The poll is designed to discover what rewards fans would like to receive via the service.
The options include varying the frequency that games are added to the service, the number of free releases each year, and an increase in PlayStation 3 games.
One tier would offer 61 “A” quality games a year, with one PlayStation 3 release every week. This has a suggested price of $7.99 a month. Another would offer 80 games a year at the “C” and “B” quality level and would cost $10 a month."
" Electronic Arts global product manager Kevin O’Leary discovered the power of the all-seeing Internet eye after a seemingly innocent comment he made on Twitter.
He made the simple mistake of voicing a negative opinion regarding Activision’s recently announced Black Ops 2.
“Poor [Black Ops II], you look tired, you should take a year off and rest,” said O’Leary, taking a shot at the franchise’s yearly release cycle. Now if any non-game related person makes this comment then the Internet doesn’t even acknowledge its existence, however if a member of the franchise’s rival company makes it all hell breaks lose.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion regarding the game, even members of EA. We’re sure at the time he was simply sharing his thoughts with followers, however once the Internet got a hold it became a whole other ball game. Don’t expect EA to make him offer any sort of apology, especially after the war of words that the two companies engaged in back in the Modern Warfare 3/Battlefield 3 battles.
The yearly release schedule is going to catch up with them in the end, you can already sense the resentment in the air. Sure, Black Ops 2 will probably sell millions of copies and make Activision a lot of money, but the cracks are starting to show."
I didn't care for battlefield at all the game just seemed too easy. The only thing I wish they would add to black ops or any other multiplayer war game that doesn't have it is the destruction stuff where buildings break down from the firefight
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
