just use online FAQS, the info is usually better than you'd get in an actual guide.
That's what I've been doing but I like the idea of having all this information then finding something sweet to do randomly.
I usually use Gamefaqs if I'm stuck on a quest. I feel like having the guide will give ideas on what do without exactly looking for something particular. If that makes sense.
Death is not the worst of evils.
You can't be down, when you're always high.
The only guide I've ever bought was for MW2 when it came out and all the info was bullshit. It was like they made it for an earlier version of the game because the gun names and multiplayer perks were even referred to by different names. The only value it had for me was strategies for the missions of veteran which I could have just googled.
I'm thinking abut buying the Skyrim strategy guide. But I can't decide if that will take some of the fun out of the game or add to it.
It takes the fun out. I have it and my roomate reads it like the bible. I used it at first but stopped because there were no surprises I knew what was, gonna happen, what loot I got from quests etc.

I am starting to get more and more excited about The Last of Us. The screen shots of ingame footage are just phenomenal and are way more impressive then Uncharted 3 and BF3's graphics. This game looks and sounds great and we shall found out on Saturday what it is about.
