This argument is cancer. Parts for a desktop would be cheaper. The laptop portability and decent aesthetic is the selling point.

The price is so similar its worth the extra for the laptop. 

Im not going to buy it regardless, I dont have the money. But it really isnt cheap to build a desktop if you want it top of the line/vr ready/4k ready
