Was digging through my games yesterday and found the copy of Dishonored I picked up from game stop a few months ago for $2 lol have neglected to play it. Has anyone tried it? I just beat Stick Of Truth (for the first time after putting off picking it up for like 2 years) and knocked out all 4 Sly Coppers again so I'm looking for something new to play. Is it any good? @EpisodeElevator
I did the same thing with stick of truth except I haven't picked it back up. Planning on getting the new one? Preview for it was hilarious where they were planning their movie universe.
Its better than what critics were saying. But its really rough and needs some work
no no its not. that game is a soulless piece of shit and Keiji Inafune should kill himself.
Not really. After you shill shitty game after shitty game, NOW there is a game you dont like?
Is it buggy? A little. But Im playing on Wii U and the worse thing Ive experienced are frame drops - no crashes. Is the platforming awkward? Yes, it needs to get smoothed out. Are the graphics dated? Yes. But the gameplay is what I expected: Mega Man without the Mega Man characters. The voice acting is mediocre, with exception of Steve Blum, but it is better than Mega Man 8, Mega Man X4, or X7.
And the Ray DLC is actually really good.
Is its worthy of the $4 million it raised? Hell no. But for a new IP indie game its decent. 6-7/10. Gameranx had a fair review up. And people on Reddit like it. If it wasnt for the controversy surrounding the creation of the game, it would not be getting panned like this.
I dont know what people were expecting. Its a Mega Man game. With a bit of polish I can see Mighty No 9 becoming a decent game in its own right. Nowhere near the greatness of Mega Man X, but still good.
I'll have a full review in video form in a few days.
I also laugh people are blaming Inafune for this. All I blame him for is spreading himself too thin to keep complete control over the game.
He was simultaneously working on like 10 games while MN9 was in development. Including Azure Striker Gunvolt - a Mega Man Zero clone that people collectively praise.

Yeah thats why I picked it up because the new one looked funny/cool. Of course I picked it up not knowing if you pre-ordered Fractured But Whole you got Stick Of Truth free for PS4 but w/e. Game was fantastic. Fun great ideas and the humor was better than like the last 4 seasons. So much fun playing it, I breezed through it in like 3 days.
Does anyone do this? When it asksbyou to adjust brightness so you can barely see the logo i always make sure the logo is barely visable. I could never play with that low of brightness.

Fade said: Totally should. It is worth the $20.
