It's a lot like Acecard for the DS, except it's way better. Basically - Nintendos encryption was broken and those that broke it are a lot better then the people who were originally behind the DS stuff.
:-? i like this. The only issue i have with getting a 3ds is the price of the games lol
Search Gateway 3DS and watch the videos. Shit is amazing... It requires almost no setup and is super easy to find roms.
The only gotcha is the 3DS version. For the last year the 3DS was only broken for firmwares 4.1-4.7 (or something like that), so if you wanted to use Gateway 3DS then you had to find a 3DS that was that version. This wasn't hard to do, I picked one up from the store brand new last march. When I checked a few weeks ago they were talking about how all firmware versions were broken with the next release of Gateway3Ds. I havent checked if they have released this version yet, but sounds like it is any day now if it isnt out already.
I have a 64GB microSDSH card in my gateway. That holds about 75 3DS games. And the games have no noticeable difference between the retail counterparts. It even has online play support. The 3DS just can't tell the difference between the real or the fake.
I don't have the attention span to platinum games. Only game I've ever done it for is Call of Duty 4 because it's my favorite of all time and easier to do than most games. Hell it still took me years to get Mile High Club.
I think I'm pretty close with Mass Effect 2 and 3... should get on that some day.
Last game I platinumed on was Infamous: Second Son. Have Uncharted 1 & 2, Infamous 1 &2, Rayman Origins & Legends, Sly Cooper 1-3, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Resistance: Burning Skies, Lego Star Wars III, and Fallout 3. I'm so close on Bad Company 2 and BF3 just too lazy to really push for it. Especially Bad Company 2. I would probably have New Vegas if I didn't suck ass at Caravan.

FF15 looks sweet though.
