so me and a couple friends are thinking about heading down next saturday for a day and stay the night...any one know of a good cheap place where you can take the train to down around the sears tower area...also how much does the train cost?

Train costs me like 30 bucks from Champaign, IL to Chicago. That'll be the cheapest thing you'll do there. EVERYTHING is expensive there. Call Amtrak for a better quote from where you are. You'll get a better rate the farther in advance you can book it.

well i meant like staying just outside of the city where you can ride the city trains down there....i know brian was telling me something about it before

Oh, sorry. My info won't do you much good then. You should check out all the museums and shit around the Soldier Field area. I had a blast last week when we went up for AIC. Shedd Aquarium was bad ass.

yeah we are talking about just heading down there checking out a few things....then getting drunk in the hotel room and then heading to a couple bars to get a drink or two..not sure if were going to go yet but were gonna try

The train by me is cheap, BUT it only goes through suburban areas. And no you can't stay here lol.

We stay in tinley park when we go up Rex. Hotel usually around 80 for the night 5 dollars for round trip downtown and park on the train. Also there is a pretty nice disc golf course about 8-10 miles from where the hotels are. All kinds of places to eat and anything you would need are right there too. The train ride depending on the stops they take on that given day should take about 45 minutes.

Look up schedules lol, there are a lot of fucking trains. And Tinley is nice, my Great Aunt and Grandma and Grandpa live in a condo there

It depends on the day I think but they start early in the morning the latest I've caught the train back was 7 or 8. Ithink on the transit map it days they run until 10 or 11 but I am not 100%

Also that disc golf course is a 28 hole course if I am remembering correctly

Comfort inn, quality inn, or comfort suites. I think there's a wingate or something there too. There is a group of about 7 hotels right off the highway across from first Midwest bank amphitheater. Those hotels are where we have stayed for mayhem and maiden
