In all honesty, I think that's entirely the label's fault. Revocation is an up and coming act, so why not present them to a large audience. If I was the label, I would do the same (if I was greedy enough to put shitty bands on my label, which I probably am)

But you are more likely to attract an audience putting them on tours with similar bands. Putting them on tour with, say, another death/thrash band is much more likely to garner income than if you were to put them on tour with a metalcore band.

True, but as I say, I think the label is just trying to get the band out there, even if it is with retarded bands.
