Borat is playing Freddie Mercury in queen movie

According to MTV.com, comic and filmmaker Sacha Baron Cohen will play legendary QUEEN frontman Freddie Mercury in an upcoming movie.

Cohen will portray the British singer in a film focusing on QUEEN's developing years up until the band's historic 1985 Live Aid set.

GK Films ("The Tourist"), Robert De Niro's Tribeca Productions and Queen Films are reportedly helming the project.


I like Borat and like Queen....but don't think this is a good mix

Although sacha baron cohen annoys the fuck out of me sometime i bet he does an amazing job

Sacha Baron Cohen is actually a great actor, he's just more famous for comedy roles. Plus, Borat does look a lot like Freddie Mercury.

i'll give it a chance when it comes out. I think Jim Carey did a great job as Andy Kaufman, so anything ios possible
