    I think anyone who gets their partner's name tattooed on them to "show their love" is super insecure.

    Kinda like those people who get their kid's names tattooed on them. They're usually shitty parents.

    I don't see the reason for getting one even if you've been together for 20 years. If you're truly in love why do you need a symbol to show it? It's like wedding rings. My parents have been married for like, 25 years now and they never wear theirs. Their marriage is perfect.

    I was watching a show about tattooing and this old guy who old had his wife and daughter got a tattoo of his wife that passed away. He got a portrait of her and they used some of her ashes in the ink. It meant the world to him.

    I think with something like getting a tattoo of a loved one ( pets included) you need to look at the situation before you judge it at all. You don't know how much it could help the person grieving.
