Yeah, freshman year was probably my toughest year in math for me. So many kids failed the final exam that the state just took away the exam score for everyone. We were doing college level work.
That's Michigan requirements though.. I dunno what his are like.
EVEN THATS EASY TO ME! i got As in my math classes that i needed to take and now im taking a review class for the fuck of it i have no sympathy for little highschoolers who bitch about school

Let me guess... English is your low point?
was that supposed to be a put down?
No, it's just that most people who are great at math struggle with English, and most who are great with English suck at math (like me.)

Yes, but the problem with what they did here in Michigan is they basically skipped 3 years of educating us. I'm just going to use numbers to explain it. Let's say we were being taught level 3 difficulty math one year, and now the next year they skipped a bunch of stuff and started teaching us level 9 math. There has been a few votes in the state to take the requirements away because so many kids are failing.
English and social studies classes are my strong points. I never struggled in math until they raised the requirements a few years back.
Yes, I see that side of it as well. It's hard when she's Democratic and everyone else on Michigan Legislature is Republican. I still don't like her too much though. It was her decision to harden the school requirements.
