Not that I don't feel bad for him and his son, but how exactly is it that Ryan McCombs needs money? I mean, I know a lot of musicians don't make as much money as widely believed, but wouldn't you think the lead singer of Drowning Pool could afford it?

I mean, I doubt rockstars have the greatest health insurance (if any. do labels provide insurance?)

Anyway, surgeries are expensive. My friend broke her leg and had to have one surgery but didnt have insurance. 8,000 dollars.

So essentially 8,000 multiple times? Thats hard for anyone to afford.

It's just hard to believe that someone who's band just did Ozzfest (I'm not sure if it's still going), and a tour directly supporting Sevendust couldn't afford this.

Sidestage bands dont make shit from Ozzfest. I was talking to Skeletonwitch on the Cannibal Corpse tour, and they said that they had to decide between doing a small club tour with another band for a fair profit but no exposure, or doing Ozzfest and getting amazing exposure, but basically breaking even financially.

So if Skeletonwitch made almost no money on Ozzfest, you cant expect Drowning Pool to have made that much better.

8,000 dollars is a shit ton of money man. This isnt Megadeth or Metallica or Maiden we are talking about here.
