The 80s had some REALLY bad hair metal, synth pop bullshit, etc.
And the 90s had some shitty nu metal, as well as the birth of bands like Nsync and Backstreet Boys. Nothing is worse than that.

I don't agree with this part. For the most part these guys are doing it because they love music. I do agree that there haven't been any bands that will/look like they will be classics like Maiden, Metallica, etc.
