The Washtenaw County Road Commission and the City of Ann Arbor both have plans to construct additional modern roundabouts within Washtenaw County over the next several years. Since this alternative intersection is relatively new to Michigan and many drivers are unfamiliar with the “road rules” of modern roundabouts, the Washtenaw County Road Commission has developed a Navigating Roundabouts brochure, which is a citizen’s guide to assist the motoring public in navigating a modern roundabout.
I avoid that section of M-59 between Crooks and Rochester as much as humanly possible. The rest of it isn't bad. Crooks is going to keep getting worse though. They're going to be adding more lanes everywhere on that road.
Oh and I-75 and I-696 aren't much better. Construction errywhere.
that section of m-59 is unfortunately the quickest way to get to OU from my house. they really need to get their shit together and get that all DONE.
I wouldn't hold my breath. Depending on when you go to OU, it might not be that bad though.
