Thanks... Although in the end it really doesn't help me personally, I'll be gone before it's rebuilt. But it's still good to know because fema wont help and insurance is being an asshole.
Here's a few pictures, it's interesting to look at damage to say the least. You never actually think this stuff happens.
A few days after Just recently after the area was cleaned up
Inside the school, these were a few weeks ago. Hard to watch a play when it's bright outside My chemistry class, best class ever This is actually a room in the center of the building, everyone thought the rooms in the middle wouldnt be so bad. They were wrong. Also the room I had geometry in last year. others Remains of a piano
It really fucked up the time schedule since the high school is in a different area than the middle and elementary now. We start regular time while the others start at like 9
First day wasn't so bad. Most of my classes have 8-11 people in them. Only thing is that since there is no gym, all the freshman and sophomores are stuck with a study hall....and since we only have one study hall room, as opposed to two in the old school...each study hall has like 60 people in them. So I'm trying to drop it and get in french 2
Chem 2 is pretty much a senior only class, and not many take chem 1, or want to take the second. So that's one Another is Pre Calc. Most people are either already done with it or don't want to take it. My Language Arts class is weird, I'm in her only senior class, and it's just a few people.
AND I FORGOT. I heard the greatest name ever today. My friend picked up his chemistry book and said "Oh Longrod Von Hugedong had this book before me," all nonchalantly before realizing it "HOLY SHIT LONGROD VON HUGENDONG"
We went from first to 19th in a month. No way we're coming away from this with money. To be honest, I'm surprised we're up there. We're going against huge schools with high schools as big as our district.
We are in 20th at the moment...But there are two small hopes...
1. One or more of the schools will not be eligible for the money 2. They tally in the votes for Lake Middle School, 17k, and Lake Elementary School, 15k. More than likely not, but it's worth the hope. It's shoot us up over 100,000

My largest class has I think 24.
Edit: Florida passed a law that only allows 25 kids per class, so yeah. =p
