the Hornets lease has been extended to keep the team in the city of New Orleans at least through 2024 with no escape clauses. The city will also host another All-Star Game in New Orleans Arena sometime during the period. The announcement will be made at the legislative meeting this afternoon. Even though I know who the new owner(s) will be, I'm not 100% sure they're announcing that this afternoon. So I'll just keep hush on that for now.
