Man I honestly think the Spurs have the edge now. For a couple reasons.
First, obviously they already got the guaranteed split, and no matter what happens in Game 2, go back home for 3 straight.
Second, they're so fucking hungry. Way hungrier than Miami. This is ultimately their last serious shot at a chip for a while. I know it, the Spurs fans know it, the Spurs themselves know it, the analyzers know it, everybody knows it. It's not hating, it's being realistic. Go out wit a bang rather than fading out of the league.
Last, the Spurs have 2 major gameplay advantages. Vastly superior 3 shooting against a half ass perimeter defending team, and the fact that they're one of the most clutch teams in the league going against a team that still has no 4th quarter unless they're already dominating. They can only close out when the game is already extremely separated on the scoreboard. They fall apart and play frustration ball when it's grind time and close. It showed all the way through the Pacers series, it showed in Game 1 in their series against us, and it showed tonight. It also showed in the game where we ended their streak. Through everything, they still haven't developed the clutch gene.
DAW GAWD!!! Bruce was nice as hell. Told him he should ask Pop to let him suit up so he could piss off Ray Allen again. He laughed and said "You want me to kick him again or something?" I burst out laughing lol. Fun time.

My favorite NBA personality I've ever met is Mark Cuban. The man is a god.
