Allen Iverson has agreed in principle on a two-year, $4-million contract with the Turkish pro team Besiktas, Yahoo! Sports reported.
Iverson is expected to sign the deal this week and report to the Turkish club next week, according to the report. The deal would allow Iverson, an 11-time NBA All-Star, to opt out after the first season, but does not include an NBA escape clause, the report said. Iverson, 35, has played in 14 NBA seasons, including 2008-09 with the Pistons. He won the MVP in 2001 when he led the Philadelphia 76ers to the Finals.
He was my favorite player for years. It's a damn shame, dude should just retire.

Good defense tonight. Belinelli was in beast mode. Ariza missed a bunch of open shots which luckely D-dub bailed his add out most of the time to make up for it. CP3 was CP3 and Okafors still a joke. 1-0 though. Once this team gels, I believe they could be quite explosive.
76ers lost, what else is new? They need to suck ass for a good 5 years and get the 1st 2nd pick every year and build a good team, hopefully that started with getting Evan Turner last year.
