The world of metal has been a truly fucked up place lately, Peter, Ronnie, Paul, Rev...and most likely Nergal.
One of the coolest moments in my life was when Nergal remembered me from Ozzfest '07, when I went and saw them on the Radio Rebellion tour. He remembered my name, what we talked about...He actually took the time to talk to one of his fans and get to know them, which is more than I can say for a lot of musicians. For that I will always be grateful and a loyal fan.
I have two cousins that have/had leukemia. One has been in remission for years and the other passed away without warning. Leukemia doesn't care if you are young or old, rich or poor, a famous rock star or the homeless fuck down the block. Cancer fucking sucks. He could get lucky and find a marrow donor (yes, donating marrow is excruciatingly painful. I've donated.) or go into remission. The reality is he may just be living on borrowed time. I'm not a huge fan but I've met him and spoken with him. Seemed like a very cool dude.
Go to www.marrow.org if you're interested in donating or the donation process. There are countless thousands of others that you may be a match for. Painful as hell but so very rewarding to know you helped save a life.
How exactly do they extract the bone marrow? And do they do any type of numbing? Just wondering since we're on the subject
I may not believe in Nergal's views on religion/Christianity because I'm Christian but I wish him the best because it sounds like he is a great person and I know he's an awesome musician
Poland isn't the greatest when it comes to medicine which sucks. I think he has to be transported here for a better chance to live. I mean mostly everyone in Poland thinks the dude is Satan's kid. So that doesn't either lol.

notice the "ex" part
he was so fucking stupid
"As someone who works in the field I can tell you that his chances of finding a compatible donor are slim to none. Prepare for the worst."
