carnifex, i never really understood why they got so much hate, i only heard a few songs and thought they were okbut, THEN, I SAW THEM LIVE. *puke* i just hope they get a decent headliner next year, i'm tired of these sold out played out 90's shit fag bands, lets get something heavy to headline. and how did MM headline over Slayer and Korn headline over Zombie, i'm not a big fan of zombie's music, but his stage show was killer. and he was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than korn.

Korn and MM bring in more money than Slayer and Zombie
I don't know about your venue byt at Tinley Park the crowd was alot smaller than it has been for the last two fests. There were more older people there, presumably escorting their minor children. The economy doesn't care whether MM or Zombie or Slayer or Korn are playing. I'd be really surprised if the festival actually turns a profit this year.
Why are ya'll even arguing over something so ridiculous? Those bands were sold as packages for a reason. 90% of the people there went to see both Manson/Slayer and Korn/Zombie. None of these bands are in their prime anymore and aren't drawing the numbers they did 10 years ago. If this was a decade ago, then yes...Manson and Korn were defiantly the biggest draw of the 4. They're all pretty much equivalent now in terms of record sales, and attendance at their own respective tours.
The people on their forums are about as idiotic as the ones on the Nuforums.
Anyways:
"Rockstar Energy Drink is offering a more 'rock' alternative to their wildly successful Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, a metal-centric event which is embarking on its third year with Korn and Rob Zombie as this edition's headliners, and has supplanted Ozzfest at the top of the summer metal festival food chain! The company is launching the first annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, which kicks off in later summer (after Mayhem ) and boasts Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed as its headliners alongside Stone Stour and Halestorm."

TDWP I think would likely be place on Uproar if anything. I hope.
I sure as hell hope it keeps being hosted at Tempe Beach Park.

So that ends that...
