That reminds me of a funny thing that happened in my COLLEGE grammar class full of only English majors and some poor souls that got stuck in there. The professor (a right old hag) called on my then-boyfriend to write something on the board with the word "grammar" in it and the dumbass wrote it as "grammer". He did not live that down for the rest of the semester.
