...dude truly...I feel a lot of hard rock/ metal albums fade in intensity after so many years, but that cd (along with the RATM debut are as vicious as ever)....

I think every band has that one album that will always be remembered as their classic album.
I was in first grade. I went into Target and used my allowance to buy something. I initially went in for some "NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC" bullshit, but I saw that cover and said "Hey it's like it's reaching out to me...why not?"
That night was the first time I'd ever heard the f word.
Venom - Black Metal Metallica - Kill em All Possessed - Seven Churches Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness Obituary - Slowly We Rot Megadeth - Killing is my Business...and business is Good Carcass - Reek of Putrifacton Sodom - Agent Orange

I grew up on MTV, my very first favorite band was Smashing Pumpkins when I was 2. I don't remember it but my dad told me. I also used to sneak downstairs at 11:30 at night around 1999-2000 to watch music videos and used to wait for Slipknot and Godsmack to come on. Just my "back in the day" story.
