It's not really a horror or thriller flick like the trailers portray.
It's pretty much about two scientists who mix human DNA with spliced animal genes, creating a species that goes through a fast process of evolution and intelligence gain and also about ze two scientist's interaction with it through it's life. It's definitely not a snorefest though.
That's about as good as I can put it without really spoiling anything.
