it really depends on the type of crowd attracted the wedding. Iv been to receptions that wrapped up at 10 pm but iv also been to ones that we keep it going to like 4 am.

Weddings are usually short. 
30 minutes to 45 minutes at most.

Receptions however last as long as there are still people around to drink.
So it depends on the crowd.
Usually receptions start to die off around 9pm which is when people take their kids home and all the drunks stay until the person with the key to the building kicks them out.

9 pm would be ideal so I can make it back to con 10ish to turn up then hit rave at 11/12 :-?
