Okay I gotta say I give Rex credit for going to see Tool. Not many people could be fucked hopping on a bus (for 8+ hours?) to go and see a band play and then to turn straight around and bus home again. That takes commitment man. I wouldn't do it for Tool myself, but I take my hat off to you.
I'm on break at work and I head to the cafe to get something to drink. As I'm waiting there's this family eating about 10 feet away. There's a little girl about eight years old with down syndrome and she starts saying hi to me. So I wave back and say hi to her. Then she tells me merry Christmas. I'm not about to crush this girls happiness so I say it back to her. Then she goes "Hug me!" And gets up. Her parents are now noticing our little interaction and tell her to sit down but she keep trucking. She's about halfway and they're still telling her to sit down so I'm looking at them trying to gauge where I fall on the "people allowed to hug our daughter" chart. I figure all seems alright and and hug the girl back. Her dad just laughs and goes, "wow you really will hug anybody but your sister today."
