We just got one. Haven't been to it yet. Some girl I went to school with said she worked there. Said oh....I just figured it was a bar not some franchised hooter killer
in the past few years ive been hearing/seeing a lot about bands performing entire albums for their anniversaries and all... but has this always been a thing? like back in the 90s and all?
Im figuring its a lot recently due to two things:
1. a lot of these albums werent that old back then 2. with file sharing becoming the norm, bands are trying to entice fans to come to a show to see something unique, where every song is played and they wont have to worry about "hopefully they play deep cuts"
Not that I recall man. i think it's a more recent thing the bands do, either coz the bands are trying to get some of their old fans along to shows, or to generate interest in their older albums that people might have forgotten about (or which were very successful at the time and they wanna promote them again)
As far as I know, it started as an ATP thing and caught on other places. I don't remember tours of classic albums before or tours featuring certain members until about 6-8 years ago

I'll back track this a tad. I do remember Roger Waters touring 'The Wall' back into the 90s
