    If that's your reasoning anyone that has any kind of debt, bad credit, struggles, etc shouldn't be in a relationship/get engaged/want to get married. And that would be pretty much the whole population tbh. Imo you shouldn't be 100% on getting married until you have lived with each other for at least 1-2 years first

    Wanting affection from someone you love and want to spend the rest of your life with isn't stupid. Even the relationships that end aren't stupid.
