I think the idea right now is to focus on the pirate/folk thing as a main longer term band, and the doom stuff as a more short term band. Its really hard to find a drummer that doesn't just want to play funk or prog here in Nashville. So we monkeys can play drums for a slow untechnical doom band if we need to. We we're going to play that until we find a drummer who can play faster more complex stuff. The switch gears and focus on the folk band. All while writing and recording it in the meantime.

Can all of you play drums?
Im shitty but can keep a rhythm. One guy can. The other can only play simpe stuff.
The reason I ask is cuz I've seen a couple of bands (namely Clinic and ...And you will know us by the trail of dead) that the members changed instruments through the set. I had a friend that did it with his band. I always thought it was sweet. I've seen others (QOTSA for one) that would do it for one song live. Always wished more bands could/would do it
hung out with my cousin that got back from korea \m/
had so many stories to tell me it was awesome. she said that if North Korea wanted to fuck the fort in Korea they easily could catch them off guard and slaughter them. she said they were really never on edge about an attack so they could have caught them off guard. scary shit. glad she's home.
