jon stewart just went HAM on gun control last night.. shitty quality but goddamn this man i think is one of the only few people Ive heard on this issue that actually gets it
It was funny, however the anti-ban people he showed on that show are making idiotic statements, so pretty easy to pull their arguments apart and make people laugh at them. One thing I do admit is that most people that are anti-ban or pro-gun, are complete idiots. Their arguments are often times as retarded as those protesting gay marriage. As someone who understands the futility of a gun ban, I really hate being on those retards side.
You know what I did like that Stewart said.... When he was making fun of jesse ventura for making an analogy to automobiles, "no we don't ban cars, but we do lower blood alcohol limits, increase enforcement, and raise penlites, increase education, etc..." Yeah, I agree Jon. Totally, lets talk about stricter enforcement and requiring more responsibility for ALL guns. There is no reason to ban one type of automobile (or assault gun), but lets work on making people more responsible, accountable, and educated. More gun regulations? cool. Got a plan for keeping guns out of bad guys hands? cool.. lets talk im on board with that. But you want to ban one type of gun that isnt any more deadly than others that you arent banning? Get out of here. Lets talk about really solving the problem instead of giving people a false sense of security.
Our creative design for the billboard has been approved! As soon as we receive and sign the contract, it goes to the printers. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!
As promised, anyone who donated $50 or more will have their names displayed on the billboard. As previously stated, for those who are concerned about having your name on the sign but still wanting that sentiment, all names will be in a small font which will not be readable from the street.
Those who donated $20 or more will have their names displayed in the "About" section of this page. Anyone not wanting their names displayed somewhere, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to accommodate. If you have already contacted us, contact us again in case we forgot.
