[spoiler=ending] I really don't know what to think. I've been on /b/ and people have been dissecting some things and I'm pretty crossed on the subject. I might see it again to observe some points that were being made. Some of them were that 1) Leo only wears his wedding ring when he is dreaming and he didn't have it on at the end, 2) A direct quote: "One actor said to "use your ears, not your eyes" in the ending, if the theater stays quiet, you can hear it drop and hit the table after the screen goes black." On the other side people say that the top wasn't Cobb's totem so it doesn't matter what it does. Also they say that Leo missed the first kick, which means he couldn't wake up for the other kicks. This might be pointless, I think I was the last person to see the movie..
Alright I'm in between A) You hear it fall after the picture cuts away...or Him and Mal lost themselves in their own dreams, and were actually in a second level. So when she killed herself, she really did go back to reality and he didn't. Then it's possible that Mal was trying to perform inception on him, but maybe not.
