Christina is a better vocalist than Britney, but she is stubborn and is constantly trying to prove how great of a singer she is. What she isn't getting, is that nobody gives a shit about that. People want fun, catchy songs, and they want you to look hot while singing them. Which is what Britney does. Not singing like a 50 year old black woman.

No she is just trying to do it, by constantly trying to show off her strong vocal power, instead of just scaling it back and giving people more of what they want. She gained all of her popularity with her pop songs, not her annoying "great voice" songs.

Don't get me wrong, I like Christina. Not as much as Britney, but I like her alot. I want her to do well, cuz she's hot and is a good singer. I just wish would concentrate on making music more like Dirtty and Fighter instead of what she is doing now, which is just sort of boring to me, and obviously most of the public.
I liked Christina's first album and that's it. If she wants to sell she should do what Britt is doing and making pop/dance music like Ke$ha. Ke$ha knew what to do from the start and that's why she's successful.
